Item description: * Nice and rare late Georgian or early Victorian era diamond cluster ring in yellow gold. The center oval shaped old mine Dutch / Rose cut diamond is a large and bulging one, measuring 7.8x6.5x3.1mm with an approximate estimated weight of about 1.1-1.2 carats. The large center diamond has a fantastic and sparkling white F-G color and general VS2-SI1 clarity. The centerpiece gem is surrounded in a cluster or solar crown like design with alternating small natural and untreated 8 Burma rubies, as well as another 8 small diamonds. One tiny diamond is missing, but this can be easily restored upon additional request. The yellow gold is not tested for gold content, but typical for that period was the 15 karat gold. The top circular face of the ring is roughly 15.5 x 14.5mm in diameter and the whole piece has a gross weight of 5 grams. The ring is size 50 (UK size J-K, US size 5 1/4). Truly scarce anrique jewelry / jewellery collector piece and one of the nice and rare Georgian era jewels and rings.
