Item description: * See scan – fantastic condition. This is a scarce and rare antique Victorian era jewel in an absolutely pristine quality. This yellow gold half pearl necklace crafted around 1860 is completely paved with round calibrated pearls having a total number of 145 all set into a fine 14 or 15 carat yellow gold. Although unmarked, the bracelet is either English or French. It has a very nice design with sets of clover / fluer de lis drops, as well as stylized pearl crosses.
This piece of antique jewelry is 395mm long and 15mm wide at its widest parts, and weighs approximately 21.5 grams. At the back of the center drop cross a special hook is provided so that a diamond or large pearl drop pendant can be attached whenever desired.
Scarce antique jewelry / jewellery collector piece made by an old master jeweler and goldsmith, and one of the great examples of antique Victorian jewels and necklaces.
