Item description: * See scan – absolutely perfect condition for this scarce silverware antique. This is a nice and rare Netherlands / Holland Dutch ship combat and sea fight Aladdin genie type oil or kerosene lamp. The lamp is masterly made and is crafted out of sterling silver with couple of hallmarks to handle and one of the caps. The piece measures about 90 x 60mm and the top of the lamp depicts an open sea ship fight with one sinking ship, all engraved and crafted into a fine repousse technique.

The object is a fantastic piece for the nautical, navy, marine and ship collectors. The handle is in the form of an old sailing ship and the two caps are intact with their original chains.

The lamp is most likely a late XVIII century piece or an early Renaissance Revival one, but is one of the nicest looking pieces of antique silverware we’ve had. The lamp has its original patination and it’s up to the customer to shine it later on. Absolutely scarce and rare nautical / navy collector piece and one of the rare antique silverware Aladdin lamps and Dutch silver in general.
