Item description: * See scan – perfect condition. This is a nice and rare Imperial Russian gold plated / gilt buckle clasp of an officer from the Army – most likely an Artillery unit. The front of the buckle has a Russian Imperial Coat of Arms / Crest showing a crowned two headed eagle holding Royalty regalia and sitting over two crossed cannons. This piece comes from the times of the war for the freedom of Bulgaria during 1878 – 1879 when Russia got to war with Ottoman Turkey. Scarce and nice militaria and uniform gear collector piece.
