Item description: * See scan - perfect condition. This is a nice and scarce Imperial / Royal era Russian piece of fine jewelry / jewel - a 14 karat solid gold broche pin with attached small flower with 3 leafes - each leaf with a set gemstone - a ruby, an emerald and a diamond. All stones are about 0.1 carat size and diamond is very clear and sparkling. The broche is hallmarked and proofed by both Imperial Russian Assay Master Antip Kuzmovizh with mark 56 and AK, as well as by the Master who made it - Mitrofan Rindin - marked MR (MP in Russian). Antip I. Kuzmichev had a jewlery factory in Moscow from 1856 and from 1897 had about 93 working masters for him. Hallmark AK is listed in page 180, #677 of the 1967 issue of the L'Orfevrerie Et La Bijouterie Russes Aux XV-XX Siecles - Editions "Nauka" - Moscou. Mitrofan Nikolaevich Rindin with a hallmark MR (MP in Russian) is also listed in the same catalogue at page 187, #899. Scarce and very nice collector piece and one of the nice antique Russian jewels.
